Meet the Sustainability and Finance Team

By intertwining sustainability principles, values and practitioners within UK financial services, our organisation aims to foster a more sustainable economy. This integration not only considers financial objectives but also addresses societal and environmental concerns, contributing to a more resilient and responsible financial system.

David Luck

As well as founding Sustainability and Finance Ltd in 2023, David also serves as Chair of the IEMA Sustainable finance network steering group. Before this he was Head of sustainability for a leading UK investment bank and an investment companies sales specialist for 23 years.

Eugene Philalithis

Eugene, with nearly three decades in finance, led Fidelity International's Multi Asset Investment Management in Europe, managing £50bn. He developed key strategies, including a $15bn multi-asset income plan. Eugene holds a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, and an MBA from the Management School of Imperial College.

Kishanth Prabhakaran

Kishanth is a master's student in Global Sustainability Solutions at the University of Exeter, brings a background in forestry and quality control experience in India. Joining Sustainability and Finance Ltd as an ESG research intern, he's eager to explore the role of investment funds in driving sustainability.

Sophie Jackson

Motivated by a passion for driving change, Sophie has actively sought out opportunities to gain interdisciplinary experience related to sustainability. As a University of Exeter UNFCCC delegate at COP26, Sophie's interest in the role of finance in addressing pressing social and environmental challenges was sparked by discussions on 'Finance for Climate Adaptation'.

Sebastian Born

Having completed a BSc in Chemistry from the University of St Andrews, Seb is now embarking upon a master’s degree in Global Sustainability solutions (MSc) from the University of Exeter.

Seb is excited to combine his passion for science, environmental policy and financial markets to help drive positive impact as part of the Sustainability & Finance team.
